Michaela Broeckx

has learnt the training trade the hard way, when as a junior trainer she was chosen to join an international team of training consultants in Oman, to participate in the launch team of Nawras (Omani Qatari Communications Company).

To develop an effective training program for the employees of an organisation requires more than just the odd insights into adult education theory and instructional dynamics. It takes insight into the dynamics of business processes, deep knowledge of the subject matter (even when this is highly technical), diplomatic communication skills, and complete empathy with the needs and positions of the overall business, the management, the program developers, the internal clients, and above all the employee at the workplace.

Quickly, Michaela has become an expert in all of this. Since Oman, she has worked with a series of global and local application developing companies and training businesses (a/o Dimension Data, Itineris, Cronos, M2Q), doing end user tests, re-writing business requirements, authoring end user manuals and textbooks, developing training material and training trainers in how to use all this in the training and coaching process at the workplace.
