Francis Laleman
turned to storytelling as a father of kids and since has steadily been developing his storytelling skills, mesmerizing audiences of all ages.
From the ancient Indian epic Ramayana to impersonations of India's most acclaimed 19th century poet Mirza Assadullah Ghalib or Felu-da, the Indian detective character invented by Satyajit Ray, Francis is bound to glue you to your chair and give you the shivers as the story unfolds.
In the early nineties, Francis has participated in the International Storyteller's Festival at Alden Biesen (Belgium), and he has captivated audiences ever since, in a variety of settings, from large public events with 500+ delegates to small-scale projects involving groups of children, adolescents or adult learners. Also, for more than 10 consecutive years, mostly live from India, Francis was a weekly guest in Het einde van de Wereld (The End of the World), a much acclaimed Sunday night radio show on VRT (Belgian Radio) produced by Dre Peremans.
Lately, Francis has set up Kahani (Stories), a business unit dedicated to bringing the story and the metaphor into the business training and development process, using it as a powerful tool to enhance ownership and commitment to best practices, and, most of all, to the unconditional acceptance and implementation of change in the organisation.
