Building bridges beyond borders

We build upon a large experience in training and consultancy assignments with major companies in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Our main focus is on communication and leadership skills in a cross-cultural environment, and we also do language training, project management, and a variety of other soft skills. Moreover, we have an established track record as developers of (technical) training manuals, and are active as technical trainers as well as call center and customer services development consultants.
We have many customers in many different sectors all over the world, ranging from HR companies and service industries to telecom and industrial engineering.
Apart from consultancy and training, we frequently give lectures and we are experienced travel and trekking guides in a wide range of environments, from the peaks of the Himalayas to the deserts of Arabia and the Middle East.

Francis Laleman
has an outstandng international track record as a lecturer, a mentor, a coach, a trainer and a consultant. After a career both in academics and in the industry, he founded the Beyond Borders group in 2004. Furthermore, with Bert Verdonck he developed India Business Support, delivering services as a professional Europe/India go-between – and with Michaela Broeckx, Xenia Orgielewski and Eddy Van Hemelrijck he joined forces in Dunya, a brand covering consultancy and training in cultural diversity management and intercultural leadership.

Michaela Broeckx
is fluent in Dutch, French, English and Arabic. She joined Francis Laleman in the Beyond Borders group in 2004. She is an experienced training developer and has an excellent international professional track record with clients from as far north as the Arctic Circle to the Middle East and the Gulf. With Beyond Borders, Michaela specializes in technical trainings, working with major software developers and CIT companies as well as in the oil industry.
